One
of the greatest discoveries of my life was that
God could use me wherever I ended up, & that my service to Him mattered
as much as the "professional" minister's did. that discovery freed
me, elevated my sense of dignity, & helped me live with expectancy. now
that I'm a "professional" minister (a pastor),
I have a hunger to help other people discover their God-given place in His
big-wide-world. you are not a second-class citizen when you near God's kingdom,
but a one-of-a-kind servant designed to produce fruit that lasts forever.
I want to help you discover your place. just like the Bible says. "It
was He (Jesus Christ) who gave some to be... pastors & teachers (people
like me) to prepare God's people (people like you) for works of service so
that the body of Christ may
be built up..." (Ephesians 4:11, 12)

Hey!
I've
been a youth pastor for over 4 years & I LOVE what I do. I love to go
to taco trucks w/ students & squirt lemon in my eye & snowboard
blindfolded. I enjoy long walks with my wonderful wife Amy & I like
to spin my 2 cats, Lola & Trooper on the floor in my house. I have a
dog named Kate & he loves to guard our house from students who like
to come & "Fork" my yeard. I am passionate about seeing students
lives transfromed by Jesus. I believe that it is only Jesus who truly makes
life FUN> I Strive to live my life as an example to point all who are
around me to Christ. I like to watch "Lost," love the movies "UHF"
and "Benchwarmers" (I love beef stew!) My favoirte verse is 2
Peter 3:18... look it up! Hope to see you if you are in grades 7-12 every
Thursday nite from 6:30-8:30 pm!!

Jesus told his disciples to "Let the little children come to me." Why? Because Jesus loves little children. He wanted to have them swinging on his arms, climbing up his back and giving him bear hugs and Eskimo kisses. At SRNC our main purpose with our kids is that they will come to know and understand this kind of love that Christ has for them. That each person in our childrens ministries would show our children the irreplaceable love of Jesus Christ.
