ussually in our front row on a sunday morning is the smiling sweet face of miss lela. we have been blessed to have her in our children's department and we know that God really sent us someone special when He sent lela to us.

if not at "the cove" on sunday mornings you might find lela in the nursery helping her mom love all the babies in our church. according to her mom patti, helping is one of the things lela does best!

lela is the youngest and the only girl in a family of boys. you could say she is the princess of the house. she loves taking care of her animals which include 3 dogs: jenny, precious, and sandy as well as her 4 cats: scar, shadow, pumpkin, and boots.

if her real animals aren't enough --
one of lela's favorite places is
"build-a-bear" where she has adopted katelyn, a bubblegum-colored hippo (how cute), nolan, a little boy lion,
and dylan, the spotted boy dog.
i think lela is on her way to working with animals some day although that will definitely not include two of lela's huge dislikes: spiders and snakes.

her favorite foods are go-gurts
and bologna sandwiches.
she likes to shop, play web-kinz, soccer, baseball, and hip-hop dance.

as you can tell lela is a girl with many talents and loves. we are so blessed to know lela and have her here in our children's ministry as one of our many loves!
